Social Event

Celebrate with us at the MIT Museum on Wednesday, August 7th!

We will head for the CCN Social at the MIT Museum [view location on map] from 6:30 to 9:45 pm. The MIT Museum is a 10-15 minute walk from the main conference site. For those who may be taking public transport from elsewhere in Cambridge or Boston, the Museum is directly adjacent to the Kendall Square Red Line stop.

The Social will have a bar, and catered dinner including vegetarian and vegan options. We will have access to the entire museum for the evening, and guests are free to explore the museum’s captivating collections during the social event. There will be musical entertainment and special art installations throughout the evening - stay tuned for updates!  

For those who are interested, the Growing Up In Science (GUIS) event will take place during the social event in the museum’s auditorium (7:00pm - 8:15pm) chaired by Weiji Ma (featuring the careers of Talia Konkle and Ev Fedorenko). 

Please make sure to bring your ticket (which you will receive at the registration desk on day 1).

After the social…

For those who have late-night energy, there will be several suggested activities for CCN attendees across Cambridge and Boston (...karaoke bar?! clubbing?) Stay tuned for further updates!
